The newest Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group will meet on the second Wednesday of each month, at Manor Care in West Palm Beach. The caregiver support group will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will last approximately one hour. Caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive impairment are encouraged to attend.
The Alzheimer’s Care Resource Center is a non-profit organization that currently provides programs and services strictly to Alzheimer’s caregivers. Services include counseling, coaching, education and training. The caregiver cottage programs offered by the Alzheimer’s Care Resource Center include a monthly virtual book club, weekly Monday Mojo and Wednesday Workshops, health and wellness programs, Waves of Faith for Christian and Jewish caregivers as well as “The Reef” – services designed just for male caregivers.
