There is a new Alzheimer’s Support Group in Delray Beach! The newest Alzheimer’s caregiver support group, facilitated by the Alzheimer’s Care Resource Center, will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at Manor Care in Delray Beach
from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Caregiver support groups help Alzheimer’s caregivers manage the wide variety of challenges that come with caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other memory impairment.
Caregivers come together and share ways to manage the changes that inevitably occur in their relationship with the person with Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s support group participants also discuss how they cope with the emotional roller coaster they often find themselves on as well as how they manage all of the complex care issues associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
Our newest Alzheimer’s Support Group in Delray Beach will currently be held once a month in the evening, with a day group coming soon.
If you are not sure if an Alzheimer’s Support Group is for you, call us and ask to speak with one of our Care Managers or Nurse Consultants.
